A SPECIAL THANK YOU
Selfless, pure, loving and giving spirits are few and far between in the modern world. That is unless you are talking about the body of Christ that gathers at 1701 West Main Street! This family never ceases to amaze me with the way you give and share the love of Jesus.
This week many amazing people and I spent hours sorting, organizing and wrapping boxes of food, as well as toys, clothes and much, much more! I, of course, am talking about the Christmas Basket Ministry. This year we were able to help out 19 local families! Some of these families were from our body, others were friends, and even more were strangers.
As I sat in the Fireside Room surrounded by cans of food, a bike, all kinds of toys and clothes, and a giant stuffed panda, my eyes filled with tears and my heart swelled with joy. What an amazing opportunity. What a testimony of what Christmas is all about. What a witness to the all-encompassing power of Christ! Next week, many kids in our valley will open gifts with full hearts, that probably would not have, had it not been for you! Thanks SO much for all you gave, from the bottom of my heart.
God Bless –
– Pannell
